For those of you who know us, you probably will not be surprised that the minute we hit Bourbon, MO on the drive in to St. Louis, we tuned to our beloved KDHX 88.1 FM.

When we did, we heard Bob Reuter (aka Scratchy Bob) who is most certainly a St. Louis institution. Bob's Scratchy Records is a Friday show during which Bob does in fact play scratchy records, many of which he sings, narrates or emotes over. He's kind of a grumpy dude. But, you know, like, in a lovable way.
So Eddy decided to call in and tell Bob that we were driving up for our wedding and ask if he could play a song for us. What resulted was amazing! One semi-cute, romantic-ish song enveloped in two whole sets about loneliness and unrequited love, all peppered with interjections about love and loneliness in perfect Scratchy Bob style.
You can click here to listen to the first set and here to listen to the second set.
To top it all off, he called us Eddie and Vicky! Such an awesomely amazing KDHX experience was never before had. I cried (but with joy).
